Fearghal Kealey

Born and raised in Kinnitty, I became involved in forestry at an early age, extracting timber with horses. On obtaining my forestry qualification I was recruited in 1998 by a forestry management company based in Cork to develop and manage the midlands region. I set up Forest and Tree Services in December 2009.

I have established an excellent working knowledge in forestry operations through education and practical skills. I have gained vast experience in forest establishment, plantation management, harvesting and overall resource management.

Over the last fifteen years in forestry,I have extended my forestry knowledge, business, IT skills and continuous professional development through additional courses,field days and seminars.

Activity out of forestry primarily revolves around the GAA and I have represented both my club and county at senior levels.
